After 3 months of week-end warrior communting... I am now local to AZ, 24-7. I've started a new job that now allows me to no longer be, 'the man who wasn't there'

Following a bit of a hurricane, and looking at the eye of the storm with its acompanying blessings... This weekend turned a new page in my life. I am now working 4 ten hour days in LA while my family is living in Phoenix. In making this change, we are able to buy a big beautiful house (hopefully closing by Oct. 1) in a very nice area instead of living in a shoebox. Karyn is also able to go to school and persue a degree with the support of her family. It has been and is hard, but the Lord is blessing us and I am so very grateful!

I know Calvin is only 11, but I've started taking him to Priesthood Session with me and it is so much fun! I love having a son old enough to take with me to this semi-annual event. He loves going too (course, he know's I'll take him out to eat afterward ;>).

A few weeks ago, Jessie had to create a Moon Journal and observe the moon thru its cycle... we've been a little moon crazy since. We photographed the moon during the recent eclipse and had a blast. This is a hand-held shot I took about a week or so ago.

I've now also taken a Dreamweaver course... boy have I been doing things the hard way all these years. I had toyed around with Dreamweaver years ago (then owned by Macromedia) but didn't find it any easier to use than just hand-jamming the HTML code in Notepad. Things have changed and I think I like it now.

So, after nearly 15 years of being an animator (mostly 3D), it was high-time I learned some Flash. I went to a training course at USC today and it was great! Now, I've just got to figure out how to put samples of what I did today on this blog.

We've played tennis a couple of times in the last week or so and have had a great time. As the weather has gotten nicer, we've decided to become more active; we even bought a volley ball and are anxious to try it out with the kids.
